Song Of The Day

ReginaSpektorFarSong: Blue Lips
Artist: Regina Spektor
Album: Far
In short: Regina returns to the scene with her sophomore album, Far, which is a good album, not as good as her first, but anyways, this song stood out, and has been playing nonstop all day.

Blue Lips – Regina Spektor [Download]

List: Live/Acoustic, vol.1

Here is a new list that I’m sure most of you will like and appreciate, hopefully. There goes:

GavinCop Stop (Live) – Gavin DeGraw [Download]
This has already been a favorite of mine when I first heard his album, and hearing it live makes it even better. Don’t miss on downloading it!

SiALentil (Live) – SiA [Download]
No matter what I say about this lady, it will still be paltry. She’s one of my all-time favorite artists.

NBPut Your Arms Around Me (Live) – Natasha Bedingfield [Download]
This is a very cute song, I love Natasha’s live performances. Her voice is not the best, but her emotions do get through.

SaraLove Song (Live) – Sara Bareilles [Download]
I like this better than the original one.

RSLive With Me (Feat. Christina Aguilera) (Live) – Rolling Stones [Download]
Fast forward to the 2:54 mark, her voice is immense.

ReginaLove Profusion (Live Madonna Cover) – Regina Spektor [Download]
I have always loved this song, Regina adds little fun to the song, I like this performance.

AWYou Know I’m No Good (Live) – Amy Winehouse [Download]
Who doesn’t love this song? One of Amy’s best.

Who: Regina Spektor
Genre: Pop/Acoustic
About: It’s really funny how I stumbled across this album, I was checking the albums released the same week as Christina Aguilera’s Back to Basics, and read a very positive review about this particular album, so I caved in, and fell for her voice. Regina’s tender vocals will find their way into your heart, you can’t not love her music. Billboard named her album the 21st best album of 2006. Here are my favorite picks, 3 from the album, and the fourth from the soundtrack of Narnia. Favorite lines from the songs, Fidelity‘s “Suppose I never ever saw you, suppose we never ever called, suppose I kept on singing love songs, just to break my own fall“, Samson‘s “You are my sweetest downfall, I loved you first“, On The Radio‘s “This is how it works, you peer inside yourself, you take the things you like, then try to love the things you took, and then you take that love you made, and stick it into someone else’s heart, pumping someone else’s blood“, The Call‘s “Just because every thing’s changing, doesn’t mean it’s never been this way before“. Enjoy!
