Moviedar: In Time

Imagine a world where you can actually buy time, where you don’t age past 25, and where the riches can live forever? That’s the premise of Andrew Niccol’s In Time, starring Amanda Seyfried and Justin Timberlake.

Animated Short: Jean-François

Vimeo is definitely the place to surf when you have some free time to kill, not YouTube.
The short movie is nothing short of beautiful, the colors and drawing style are really admirable. Well done, Tom Haugomat & Bruno Mangyoku.

Unveiled: First Look At ‘Snow White & The Huntsmen’ Characters

Moviedar: HUGO

Hugo, Martin Scorsese’s upcoming epic 3D tale is like the lovechild of Big Fish and Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events, with a hint of The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. This one’s a definite must-see!
PS: Hugo stars the flawless Chloe Moretz (Let Me In, Kick-Ass, 500 Days of Summer)

Moviedar: A Dangerous Method

Forget all the other movies you’re excited to watch this year, A Dangerous Method is THE movie to anticipate.
The movie is directed by David Cronenberg (Eastern Promises, A History of Violence, The Fly) and adapted to the big screen by Christopher Hampton, the writer behind the screenplays of Atonement and Dangerous Liaisons.
The best is yet to come, the movie stars none other than Keira—goddess—Knightley, and Viggo Mortensen.

Winnie The Pooh Vs. Harry Potter

July 15 has been engraved in the back of every moviegoer’s mind that it’s the day “It all ends“, the release date of the final Harry Potter movie. But, what’s funny (not really) is that July 15 is also the release date of Disney’s new revamped-but-still-true-to-its-roots Winne The Pooh movie. Now, the genius team behind Winnie The Pooh has released TV spots poking fun at its box office competition with the mighty wizard to lessen the blow. Below are the two spot, and the full theatrical trailer for those not in the know.

Moviedar: Christopher Nolan’s Inception

The genius director behind The Dark Knight brings you this epic sci-fi that is set to shake you up. The trailer looks more than promising, one of the best teasers I’ve seen in a long while. The music is LEGENDARY, keeps you on the edge of your bed.
Inception, out summer of 2010 stars Leo DiCaprio and the ever so lovely Marion Cotillard.

Moviedar: Whip It!

sxp0msDrew Barrymore’s directorial debut starring Ellen Page, Kristen Wiig, and Zoe Bell.
It looks funny as hell, and I really really am hyped to watch it!

Moviedar: James Cameron’s Avatar

James Cameron returns with his first feature film since ’97 monster Titanic. The idea of Avatar was first conceived some 14 years ago, but wasn’t possible due to technological shortcomings. Now after 4 hefty years in the making, Avatar is set to unleash itself worldwide come December. I really, really, really can’t wait!
